I trained in Swedish massage back in 2004 and became a fully-fledged complementary therapist when I completed my reflexology training which I loved. It was hard work but I quickly realised I wanted to offer this wonderful therapy as the feet reveal so much about a person and their health!
As a FHT member I have to fulfil my continuing professional development (CPD) and this has allowed me to train in other therapies, becoming a practitioner in the following disciplines – Dorn Method & Breuss massage, Dorn Institute, Strafford-Upon-Avon. Indian Head and Seated Acupressure massage, Teach Therapy, Newport.
I have more recently attended various ‘enhancement’ workshops which have included spinal reflexology, finger free reflexology, advanced massage and fascial release techniques, as well as first level Reiki.
My objective is not to diagnose but rather to lend a sympathetic ear and demonstrate my caring, professional and friendly nature so that you can feel better naturally.
When I am not “reflexing on your health” I enjoy looking after babies at a local nursery which offers me a contrasting change in dynamics and keeps me on my toes! In my spare time I enjoy walking and reading; and I especially enjoy chatting with my daughter in various coffee shops around Bristol.
